Objective: Work with communities, businesses, non-profits, and/or governments as a project manager who brings together stakeholders, expertise, and funding sources to meet current and future challenges to water and other natural resources.
I developed advanced project management skills during my tenure as an Internet project manager enabling banks and Internet startups to gain an Internet presence during the I-boom of the 1990's. The task was to create a customer interface for businesses desiring to come online in uncertain, risk-prone, and rapid-paced, and unknown business environments while managing functional and technical teams to 250 staff. For 1998, I was awarded best Internet customer service by the Boston Globe and such a mention in the New York Times.
During that time in California and recently in Nevada and Utah, my focus has been on issues that affect natural resources. These include massive water transfer projects, coal-fired power plants, air quality, and, drought management.
